Suzuki
In 1909, Michio Suzuki founded the Suzuki Loom Works in the small seacoast village of Hamamatsu, Japan. Business was booming and by 1937 he realised that he had to branch out into other avenues of business to diversify his company. Within two years he had built several prototype cars. By 1954, Suzuki was producing 6,000 motorcycles per month and had officially changed its name to Suzuki Motor Co.
